Our electric department currently serves over 21,000 customers and maintains over 1,600 miles of electric lines in Henry County. The mission of the Paris Board of Public Utilities Electric
Railway stations and the respective areas they serve on departure from Paris. These stations are the terminal stations of major lines (trains going beyond the Île-de-France region), and, except for Bercy, the suburban Transilien lines. Austerlitz, Saint-Lazare, Lyon and Nord are also stations on the RER network.
Established as the first service line of the Paris Board of Public Utilities in 1938, the Paris BPU Electric Department understands the vital role they play in our community. In 1888, in run-up to the 1889 Universal Exhibition, Paris City Council decided to create an electricity distribution network.
