Manna has been active in drone deliveries in Ireland for some time and partners with various retailers and restaurants to enable ultra-fast delivery times. The strategy describes Dublin as “one of the most advanced cities in the world in the area of drone deliveries” noting that Manna Drone Delivery has been trialling drone delivery services in Dublin and is now expanding these services globally.
Manna, which has already completed over 170,000 delivery flights in the Dublin 15 area, will operate the drones, which are continuously monitored by a dispatcher when in use. Under the new scheme Deliveroo's drones will be deployed from Manna's local delivery hub, flying at speeds of up to 80 km/h.
In Dublin's Blanchardstown suburb, drones hum steadily above, delivering coffee and pizza in under 16 minutes—a glimpse into a future where instant, autonomous delivery could reshape retail. Manna Aero, a Dublin-based startup, has logged 200,000 flights, outpacing giants like Amazon and Alphabet's Wing in suburban skies.
