YEREVAN, November 21. /ARKA/. Electricity saving in public buildings participating in Armenia's "Energy Efficient Regions" program have reached 40%. This was reported by Karen Asatryan, Director of the Armenian Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Fund, during an expert meeting.
The Armenian government will allocate $160 million for the repeated prolongation of the operation term of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (ANPP), Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan said at a press conference on Thursday.
A total of 9,381.4 million kWh of electricity was generated in Armenia in 2024, which is 6.5% more than in 2023,the National Statistical Committee said.
